After studying law at the University of Adelaide between 1984 and 1987, Lisa worked as an Associate to His Honour Justice Walsh of the Supreme Court in WA for 2 years, completed her degree and then undertook an articles clerkship at Phillips Fox in Perth where she gained invaluable experience in Commercial Litigation, Insurance, Property and Family Law.
Since 1995 Lisa has worked solely in the area of Family Law both in Queensland and South Australia in both children and property matters. She is skilled at assessing her client’s needs and has experience in dealing with domestic violence allegations and issues arising from changes made to the Family Law Act (1975) in the past few years regarding shared parental responsibility and shared care arrangements.
Her commercial experience has allowed her a unique insight into the financial aspects of separation and she has significant experience in managing large property settlements and complex matters.
Lisa is proud to say that the majority of matters she deals with settle amicably with the assistance of alternative dispute resolution and negotiation. However, when it is necessary to continue through to the trial stage she is able to provide a very efficient and cost effective service.
Pam was admitted to practice in 1998 after completing her law degree and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the University of Adelaide. Pam also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honours from Flinders University which she completed in 1991.
Pam has practiced primarily in the area of Family Law throughout her legal career with various boutique and large firms. She specialises in divorce proceedings, property settlements, children’s issues, spousal maintenance and child support and de facto matters.
Pam’s approach is to try to resolve family law disputes quickly and cost effectively, giving sensible and realistic advice.
Joanne’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Law and Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) both from Flinders University, South Australia and she was admitted to practice in 2005. Prior to joining Adelaide Family Law she worked in a number of practices in areas such as commercial law, injury law, employment law and family law.
Since 2009 Joanne has practiced solely in the area of family law, in both children and property matters. Joanne also has experience in mediations and negotiated settlements as well as complex children’s matters and matters involving domestic violence.
Joanne is relentless in achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients, ideally through negotiated settlements rather than resorting to issuing proceedings.
Joanne approaches the issue of separation with compassion and endeavours to guide and assist her clients through what can be a very stressful time as smoothly as possible.
